About some new policies in the field of immigration management, exit, transit, residence of foreigners in Vietnam, The Ministry of Public Security said, Proposed policies to be included in the Joint Resolution of the National Assembly at the Third Session 5 month 5/2023 to do it right away, during the revision process, supplementing the Immigration Law, transit, residence of foreigners in Vietnam.

This is to solve some urgent issues to further facilitate foreigners (tourists, Investors, businessmen…) in entry, exit, transit, resident, do business in Vietnam, contribute to recovery, develop the tourism industry in particular and the economy – society in general.

Government members unanimously proposed to the National Assembly to allow the extension of the e-visa deadline (E-visa) from no more than 30 day up is not too 3 month, valid once or many times;

Issue electronic visas to citizens of all countries and territories around the world and assign the Government to decide on a specific list of countries, territory;

Extending the time limit for granting temporary residence certificates at the border gate for people entering the country under the visa exemption scheme from 15 day up 45 day.
